COVID-19 Appeal
The NHS is facing its biggest challenge in 72 years. Our staff are on the front line in the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19). They’re going the extra mile, every day, to take care of us and our loved ones despite being under extreme pressure. They need our support more than ever.
VOiCE
The Gynae VOiCE campaign aims to support the department to assist local women going through or having experienced any gynaecological cancers, including Vulval, Ovarian, Cervical and Endometrial cancers.
Baby Bereavement Appeal
This appeal is to help those families who have suffered baby loss and initially funds will help create a specific bereavement room on the delivery unit. This appeal will continue to support families who suffer baby loss. Donate here https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/nnuhbabybereavement
Bumps & Babies
Over 6,000 babies are born at our hospital each year. Families benefit from maternity beds, theatre suite, foetal assessment, MLBU, ultrasound department and neonatal intensive care unit.
The staff would like support in continuing to improve the facilities provided to our mums.
NICU
We treat some 1,000 sick and premature babies each year and they can be with us for a matter of hours, days, weeks or months. The money you raise pays for state-of-the-art equipment as well as support for parents while their baby is in hospital.
Cancer & Oncology Care
We support the work of the cancer and oncology departments and its specialisms, including patients being treated for and living with cancer. To help fund the fantastic work taking place, read more about how you can help.
In Memory & Never Forgotten
Remembering a loved in by recognising the care that had been provided during their treatment or by supporting N&N Hospitals Charity as their ‘Loved In Life Charity’, means that the work carried out by the specific ward/department or the hospital in general can indeed develop in thier memory.
The Boudicca Appeal
Please help us raise £800,000 to create a new, dedicated breast cancer unit at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The current NNUH breast cancer unit handles all referrals of suspected breast cancer from GPs – a number which has almost doubled in the past five years.
Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital
The Jenny Lind Children’s hospital has been helping children since 1854, created thanks to donations from Swedish singer Jenny Lind. Since then hundreds of thousands of children have been cared for by our teams.
Dementia
Up to a third of adult hospital inpatients will have either acute confusion or a pre-existing diagnosis of dementia. While the major risk factor for dementia is age, there are currently 45,000 people in the UK under the age of 65 living with dementia.
Charity General Fund
The work of the N&N Hospitals Charity enhances the physical environment of the hospitals for patients, staff and visitors. We fund research and equipment and projects which touch the lives of the thousands of people cared for by the hospitals and local community services each year.
Neurosciences & Stroke
‘Neuro’ is a broad and important family of medics and nurses providing care for seriously ill patients. The teams use the very latest research and best practice to make sure the care patients receive is safe, effective and of the highest possible quality. We fundraise to support services and research across the neurosciences department.
North Norfolk Cancer Centre
In collaboration with our Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we aim to build a state-of-the-art £4.15 million centre for people living with cancer in and around North Norfolk, at the current Cromer Hospital.
