We know that when you lose someone you love, you want to cherish the memories you have and celebrate their life in the best possible way. Remembering a loved one through in memory donations or fundraising is a wonderful way to pay tribute to that special person.
You can choose to support any area of our hospitals. From cancer care to stroke treatment, from state-of-the-art equipment to cutting-edge medical research to staff training or extra facilities, you can be sure that your donation will help the cause closest to you and your family’s heart.
Did you know that you can request your family and friend make a donation in lieu of flowers at the funeral?
A donation in lieu of flowers is a simple and effective way for family and friends to donate in memory of a loved one. If you wish to do this, please speak to the funeral director. They will be able to offer you advice and will pass all donations received onto N&N Hospitals Charity, and again you can specify where you would like your monies to help.
Leave a Gift in Your Will
Even if you think that you do not ‘own’ anything, you will be surprised just how helpful even a small donation can transform the lives of our amazing staff and the patients that they treat and care for everyday here at your local NHS hospital.
A gift left to N&N Hospitals Charity in a Will makes a huge difference to improving patient care in the most modern facilities, with the most up-to-date equipment and delivered by the best staff across the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which includes the N&N, Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital and Cromer & District Hospital. For example, it is only because of generous gifts left in Wills of our supporters that we were able to fund the new North Norfolk Macmillan Cancer centre at the Cromer & District Hospital.

Make A Will Month
In October 2020 we launched our first ever Make A Will Month that was supported by local firm, Face to Face Finance Estate Planning. Continued and active corporate supporters they detail in this short webinar the importance of your support in this way and the impact that this kind of gift can have.
To leave a gift in your will and donate to N&N Hospitals Charity, you can do so between 1st – 31st October during Make A Will Month and Face to Face Finance Estate Planning will donate your fee to us.

In Memory & Never Forgotten
N&N Hospitals Charity hosts an annual remembrance service; In Memory & Never Forgotten where we remember your loved ones that have sadly died at any time in our hospitals. If you would like for us to remember your family member, friend or colleague during the service, please send their name and a short message to nnuhcharity@nnuh.nhs.uk The next service will be September 2021 and available to download. Date to be confirmed shortly.
